Scarborough Nursery Manager - Louise Goodger |

 NNEB Diploma, Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education, BA(Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care, Early Years Professional Status, Postgraduate Certificate in Experiencing Early Years Provision.
Louise joined Happy Jays just after it opened in August 2005. She has worked with young children since leaving college in 1993. Louise has two teenage sons and is currently studying for a Master’s Degree.

Baby One Supervisor - Sarah Baker |

 Diploma in Childcare and Education Level 3, NVQ Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 4. Sarah has been at Happy Jays since April 2005. She was promoted to supervisor in March 2008.

Baby One - Sophie McDowall |
|
 Sophie started at Happy Jays in February 2007. She has worked in Tweenies where she gained her NVQ Level 2. She now works in the Baby unit and has just completed her NVQ Level 3.

 NVQ Level 3. Cheryl started as bank staff in November 2009 then took a permanent post in Pre-school 2. She now works in Baby 2.

Baby Two - Karen Stockill |

 NVQ Level 3. Karen joined Happy Jays at opening in April 2005. She has previously worked with all age groups within the nursery.Karen has experience of working with children who have special educational needs. She two young children, one of whom attends nursery and another who used to attend before starting primary school.

Tweenies - Emily Ashworth |

 CACHE Diploma Level 3. Emily started with Happy Jays in May 2007 and has always worked in Tweenies.

 Decided Happy Jays could progress her chosen career after babysitting for family and friend's children. Started in Pre-school One in May 2010. Looking forward to beginning Level 3 training as soon as possible.

Pre-School One - Lyndsey Hubery |

 NVQ Level 3 Children's Care, Learning and Development. Lyndsey started at Happy Jays in June 2006. She has previously worked in both Pre-school rooms and Tweenies. Lyndsey has two young children of her own.

Deputy Manager/Pre-School 2 Supervisor - Danielle Speight |

 Danielle has worked with 0-5 year old children for 7 years. She joined Happy Jays at opening in April 2005 and since then has gained level 2 and level 3 qualifications and taken promotions to Supervisor and then Deputy Manager in June 2009.

Pre-School Two - Helen McFegan |

 BTEC Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 4. Helen joined Happy Jays when it opened in April 2005 and has worked in both Pre-school rooms. Helen has two young children, one of whom attends nursery and another who used to attend before starting primary school.

 Initially trained as a Chef with the Territorial Army seven years ago, Chris joined Happy Jays in August 2007. He is trained to Level 2 in food hygiene and special dietary requirements. Chris gained a five star rating for hygiene practices in 2011. Chris has two young children.

 CACHE Diploma Level 3. Kelly joined the team in Pre-School in February 2008.In March 2009 she moved into Baby room. Kelly’s own daughter attended nursery.

Baby Two Supervisor - Abi Fenton |

 Abi started at Happy Jays in January 2006 in the Tweenies room. She has gained her NVQ Level 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. Abi moved to Tweenies in September 2011. Abi’s daughter attends nursery.

 Sammy completed placements with us during her Level 1 and Level 2 training. She is now completing a Level 3 apprenticeship.

Tweenies Supervisor - Sophie Rowley |

 NVQ Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 3. Sophie has worked at Happy Jays since October 2006.She took a promotion to Baby Two Supervisor in September 2009 and moved into the Tweenies as Supervisor in September 2011.

 NVQ Level 3. Joined Happy Jays when it opened in April 2005. Claire has worked in Baby One and now works in Pre-school One. She has two young children, one of whom attends nursery and another who used to attend before starting primary school.

 Diploma in Pre-school Practice Level 3 and NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 4. Janice is a mother and grandmother with 20 years early years experience.

 NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. Laura started at Happy Jays in October 2007. She has worked in Tweenies. Her own son attends nursery.

 CACHE Level 3 Diploma. Emma joined Happy Jays in June 2005 as bank staff before joining the team in Pre-school Two permanently in May 2007.

 Lauren joined Happy Jays as bank staff in March 2010 and is currently studying a Level 3 qualification. Lauren has a 2-year-old son who attends the nursery.

 Sarah joined the kitchen team in March 2011. She is trained to Level 2 in food hygiene. Sarah’s son attends nursery.
